WHY THE TURNING POINT CHURCH ? 〰️
The Turning Point Church exists for people who know there is more, more purpose, more clarity, more alignment with God’s will.
We are not just a place you attend; we are a community you belong to.
We Offer Community
We believe no one should walk alone. At The Turning Point Church, you will find people who pray with you, walk with you, and grow with you through every season.
We Offer Connection
Connection leads to transformation. Through small groups, discipleship, and intentional relationships, we help people connect to God, to purpose, and to one another.
We Offer Charity
Our faith is active. We serve our church, our neighborhoods, and our city through generosity, outreach, and compassion, meeting spiritual and practical needs.
This is a church for people ready to move from isolation to impact.
OUR HISTORY
THE TURNING POINT CHURCH was born out of a legacy of faith and a commitment to spiritual growth. Founded on July 30th, 2022, and officially incorporated in September 2022, our church began as Shekinah Glory Deliverance Ministries. In honor of the late Apostle Cassie Brown and following Pastor Mangaliso Gibson's transition to pursue personal goals, Impact & Restoration Center emerged with a renewed vision.
While our roots are in Apostolic reformation, today we are a non-denominational church that embraces the five-fold ministry gifts. We are dedicated to restoring lives, impacting communities, and empowering individuals to live out their God-given purpose.
MEET OUR PASTOR
Pastor Shenequa Lee
Pastor Shenequa Lee began her Christian journey at the age of 15, answering God’s call with a heart for worship, service, and transformation. She was nurtured in ministry at Shekinah Glory Deliverance Ministries under the spiritual covering of Apostle Cassie Sorrells-Brown, where she learned that it is the anointing of God that empowers purpose. Over the years, she has served faithfully in leadership roles including Associate Pastor, Praise & Worship Leader, Choir Director, Church Administrator, Youth Ministry Leader, Pastoral Adjutant, and Teacher. Gifted musically and spiritually, Pastor Lee flows prophetically and expounds the Word of God with clarity and revelatory insight.
In July 2022, by the witnessing of members, family, and friends, Pastor Lee was consecrated and affirmed into pastoral leadership by Bishop Kevin N. Williams and established iMPACT & RESTORATION CENTER and the iMPACT & Restore Community Development Center, serving as a beacon of hope and restoration. She is the proud mother of two children, Jasmine and Khai, and brings excellence to both ministry and marketplace through her 22-year career with Broward County Public Schools and her academic background, including a Bachelor of Science in Business Supervision and Management with a certificate in Business Management and Hospitality. Her foundational scripture is 1 Corinthians 2:4–5, declaring that her ministry is led by the power of the Holy Spirit and not human wisdom.
As a cancer survivor, Pastor Lee knows what faith truly is, and she carries a mission to build the Kingdom of God by winning the lost and restoring lives back to Jesus Christ. As the body of Christ enters 2026, she shares that through prayer, guidance, and spiritual alignment, the Holy Spirit began shifting the name of the ministry while preserving the mission, restoring His Church by restoring His people. Like Genesis 12–17, where God changed Abram to Abraham as a seal of covenant identity and purpose, this transition reflects spiritual maturation and divine confirmation. Therefore, iMPACT & RESTORATION CENTER is now The Turning Point Church, and Pastor Shenequa declares, “We look forward.”
